Kath & Tim Annison extend a warm welcome to you at our traditional Galloway farmhouse situated in rolling countryside on the outskirts of the Royal Burgh of Whithorn in Galloway, South West Scotland. Warmed by the Gulf Stream, we are the ideal location for a relaxing and peaceful holiday, whatever the time of year or whatever the weather with easy access to both coast and countryside. Please take the time to have a look around our website and view a snapshot of what Chapel Outon Farmhouse B&B and our local area, with its timeless charm, can offer you.
Open all year round we offer comfortable, non-smoking, spacious, yet cosy, accommodation in our double, family and twin rooms. We serve wholesome home cooked food which is sourced locally, in our separate dining room with woodburning stove. Our free range hens are busy laying eggs for your breakfast. Our set two or three course evening meal, followed by tea/coffee and mints (prior arrangement only) is proving extremely popular – please take a look at our sample menus and although we are not licensed, we are quite happy for you to provide your own alcoholic accompaniment. We are especially pleased that our own vegetable garden provides us with an abundance of home grown produce. Packed lunch is again available by prior arrangement. We offer tea/coffee making facilities with home-made biscuits in our bedrooms with a complimentary basket of fruit and provide a tea tray with home baking on arrival. We have a separate cosy sitting room with Sky TV and a roaring log fire is lit in the cooler months. Wi-fi available
Dogs are welcome free of charge by arrangement with Hamish and Toby our dogs. Our canine guests are provided with water bowl and fluffy rugs for use during their stay and free home made dog treats. We have a large garden and paddock. Your dogs will especially appreciate our leaflet detailing the walkies carefully selected and much recommended by our late and much missed furry daughter Daisy and constantly tested by Hamish and Toby.
